Fabulous and Peaceful
Our 2nd visit to Trewince and we were not disappointed. Peaceful location, amazing views and great walks. The local beach was great and a seal approached us and swam along which was amazing. Visited Trelissick, St Mawes and beautiful Carne beach. All in all, a haven of peace and tranquillity in these troubled times. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. A B, September 2020
Cornwall Staycation near St Mawes and a good base to visit Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Padstow and St Ives
My wife and I I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a 3 bedroom holiday lodge with views of the ocean.
The resort is well managed, peaceful and it felt safe both in terms of environment and Covid risk avoidance processes.
Henry and team made us feel welcome and provided helpful information to enjoy the resort and exploration of the surrounding area. ZahidMalti, April 2021
Had a great holiday here in a quiet part of Cornwall. Our lodge had a beautiul view -we were able to spot dolphins from the lodge (with binoculars) It was spotlessly clean. Helpful staff. Plenty of walks in the area through woodland, along river creeks, coastal path. Grandchildren loved it. Ideal for families. Lillie L, August 2020
Back again for a fifth time!
Myself and family plus dog returned to Trewince for our annual holiday – this was our fifth consecutive visit. As usual the lodge was immaculately clean with everything you would need for a great stay, including a welcome basket with tea/coffee sachets, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. We had a lovely view across the fields to the sea and it was so quiet. There are some beautiful beaches close by and a little shop in Portscatho for every day essentials. We also made use of the visiting pizza van (Tuesday) and fish and chip van (Thursday). If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle, then look no further you won’t be disappointed! We hope to return again next year, for our ‘Trewince fix’! My Wife found this on the internet and was immediately impressed.
The Lodge she chose (E28) was wonderful – everything was provided and all worked perfectly. They even supplied some milk, tea, coffee, Fairy liquid, kitchen roll and dishwasher tabs.
The location had lovely views over the bay from our upstairs bedroom. The lodge is not overlooked and was very quiet.
We have never stayed in a holiday let that was so clean; it was brilliant. We thought it was new but were told it was built in 1996. Very comfortable sofas and Freesat TV. Lots of DVDs to watch and a good selection of books and games.
There is a swimming pool, gym and Jacuzzi on site and all the staff we encountered were more than helpful.
The only very slight downside is the location, as it is on a peninsular – King Harry Ferry to the rescue!
This place is really hard to beat. Wonderful. DrivingLessons, Jan 2020
I can’t recommend Trewince Holiday Lodges highly enough, the lodge we stayed in was like a home from home with all the amenities you could wish for. The lodges are set in a beautiful idyllic location which was also very peaceful.
The entire site was very well looked after and there were some great walks around the area. I would love to go back there in the future. andysimpkins, Dec 2019
We stayed here for a week on our family holiday, the lodge was very comfy well equipped & had everything you needed for a relaxing holiday, the facilities on site were very good with a swimming pool & cafe been the favourites with our 2 teenagers. You have to be organised in regards to eating but the village shop in porthscatho was very well stocked as were the shops in St Mawes but this was a 5 mile drive. A lovely relaxing week was had by all of us & with very limited wifi & phone signal it was good to leave the electronics alone. Sarah J, August 2019
