Paradise Park, Hayle 13 -21 Feb
Join Paradise Park over February half-term for their Little Pirates and Fairies fancy dress week. A family-fun quiz trail will run from 14-22 February and when you’ve completed the quiz claim your delicious sweet treat.
Newquay Zoo, Newquay Throughout Feb
Open from 10am – 5pm everyday, Newquay Zoo is a fantastic place to visit throughout the year, no matter what the season. Get closer to over 130 of the world’s rare and exciting creatures at the award winning Newquay Zoo! Watch the big cats devour lunch, visit the creepiest crawlies in the atmospheric tropical house and learn more about conservation.
Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek 13 – 21 Feb
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary are inviting people to grab their wellies and embrace the outdoors, whatever the weather this February half-term. They have lined up a host of activities designed to help their visitors make the most of the beautiful outdoor setting. Experience their magical Piskie Puddle Trail, take part in Welly Wanging, and get involved with our Woodland Crafts,there will be something for everyone! All this and our talks and feeds will still be on offer, we’ll just be adding a little extra fun!
Eden Project, St Austell 13-21 February
If you’re fed up of hibernating at home, head to Eden and skate on their beautiful ice rink on its final week. There are fun sessions to suit everyone, from toddlers to experienced skaters. Make a day of it and explore the enchanted biomes and lunch in the cafe.
This half-term at Eden, younger children will love meeting Stick Man, the ever-popular Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler character. Discover how he overcomes encounters with playful dogs and nest building birds and take part in Stick Man inspired crafts, games and Pooh stick racing. Older children can pick up essential survival techniques from our experts including how to shoot a blowpipe and make a fire, and get close up to some visiting minibeasts.
National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Falmouth, various dates in Feb
There is plenty going on at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall this half-term. Our top pick is Join us for an experience which is out of this world! Take a trip to the stars in their Planetarium, giving you 360 degree views of our spectacular solar system. Explore the wonders of space science and be amazed by the universe’s astronomy. See you there!
Land’s End – 13 – 21 February
Re-opening its doors for 2016, the beautiful scenery of Land’s End has made it one of Britain’s favourite destinations for days out. Parking your car and walk the clifftops to see how Cornwall changes from season to season. Throughout half-term, bring the whole family this February half term; pick up a free trail and help your young ones win a sweet treat, explore our fun-filled family attractions, pick up a bargain in the West Country Shopping Village, and once you’ve built up an appetite from an action packed day of adventure, quench your thirst and satisfy hungry tums in one of our catering outlets!
Trebah Garden, Falmouth 1 – 28 February
Whose knees are these trail: Explore the garden via the “Whose Knees Are These” trail whilst answering clues and finding out fascinating fun about bees. Trails cost £2 including prize. Normal Garden entry rates apply.
The Monkey Sanctuary, Looe 13 – 21 February
Hang out with the monkeys throughout February half-term and enjoy fascinating keeper talks, activities for the children, play area, films, lunch at the Treetop cafe and lots more.
