Family Play Areas

Children have plenty of space to play during their stay, with two dedicated play areas for different age groups.

Woodland Play Area
Located within Trewince Woods, approximately a 5–10 minute walk from Reception, the Woodland Play Area is a popular stop on the walk to Trewince Quay. Children can enjoy climbing towers, a suspension bridge, climbing wall, fireman’s pole, basket swing and more. Suitable for children aged 7 years and over. Children aged 5–6 years may use the equipment when supervised by an adult.

Pool Garden Play Area
Located beside Reception, this smaller play area is perfect for younger children and includes a mini fort, climbing wall, ramp climber and slide. Suitable for children aged 7 years and under. Adult supervision is required at all times.

Woodland Walk & Trewince Quay

One of the highlights of staying at Trewince is the beautiful woodland walk to Trewince Quay.

The peaceful 15-minute walk winds through ancient woodland where you can enjoy the local wildlife before emerging to spectacular views across the Fal Estuary towards St Mawes, Falmouth and, on exceptionally clear days, as far as Penzance.

Take a moment to relax on one of the benches overlooking the water, or continue across the field to Trewince Quay for even more stunning estuary views.

Please note that dogs are not permitted across the field due to grazing livestock.

Staying Connected

Fibre broadband provides reliable Wi-Fi access throughout every lodge, helping you stay connected during your holiday. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available in Reception during opening hours.

Due to our peaceful rural location, mobile phone reception can be limited across the site. In an emergency, a public payphone is available outside Reception 24 hours a day. During Reception opening hours, guests are also welcome to use the Reception telephone if required.

Please note that our lodges do not have landline telephones.

Safety

For your peace of mind, a defibrillator is located in the building between the Reception car park and the staff parking area. Our Reception team will be happy to assist if required.

Important Information

For the comfort of all guests, smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any lodge.

To comply with our fire safety and insurance requirements, BBQs, fireworks, candles and any other naked flames are not permitted at the lodges or elsewhere on site. A designated BBQ area is available—please speak to Reception for more information.
